    Why does a low carb diet help you lose more weight? I don’t get it. Also I find it is more expensive because you have to buy a lot of meat and fish.

    Because it keeps you feeling fuller for longer. Protein and fats do this. It does not have to be expensive although it will be healthier if you can afford plenty of fresh vegetables. Keep in mind vegetables are cheaper than fruit, and you don’t need fruit on a low carb diet, but you must have plenty of veggies of different colors to get all of the vitamins that you need.
