The Headzone Coaching System

The Headzone Coaching System is designed to allow direct communication from boat to student without stopping, hand signals, megaphones, or yelling. Our coaching kit consists of a handheld radio and headset and a lightweight water helmet, equipped with waterproof speakers, volume control, and on/off switches. 

As a coach, it is important to be able to relay knowledge clearly and instantaneously without any misunderstandings for the rider to achieve the highest results in their ability. To hear your coach at the precise moment you need advice will accelerate the learning process.   Communication is the key to learning quickly and correctly, especially when it comes to advancement in wakeboarding, where good timing and technique is essential.  

Everyone gets the principle, direct contact from coach to athlete, dad to son, friend to friend.  But in reality, few realize the advantages that the rider gets from immediate communication, as opposed to waving your hands, shouting from the boat, or waiting for the wakeboarder to fall to give instruction.  

We can now be in the riders mind every step of the way… we are able to put our thoughts into their head.  We can now guide and instruct the student instantly and help them improve like never before. We are able to reach people when its time to “Think Tuff”, when to change their body position, how to react and feel the rhythm.
